The meeting has been put back from 1.00 p.m. to 2.00 p.m., so I work on choresome activities, to avoid breaking the software before having to demo it this afternoon. I set off for Bedford at quarter past twelve. Prior to departure lunch is a single ham sandwich.
The meeting is long (2.00 p.m. to 5.45 p.m.), and I come away with a list of fairly complex changes that must be implemented. The go-live day is still Monday 18th, so I’ve got a lot to do. Up to now, my week had been fairly calm. A false sense of security.
I arrived home at 7.30 p.m. I’m hungry. I’m exhausted. I want sleep and food. The washing up needs doing. I’m sweaty. I must have a shower.
